About Lehigh County Criminal History

Lehigh County records are divided among the courts, police departments, county corrections, and Pennsylvania State Police. We organize the verified public routes so a reader can distinguish a UJS docket from a PATCH certificate, a police report from a jail record, and a Megan’s Law profile from a general criminal history. The aim is practical: identify the office that holds the needed record and show the official way to reach it.

Why We Built This Site

Pennsylvania does not place every criminal record in one public database. Lehigh County courts preserve filed cases and dispositions. Municipal police retain source reports. County Corrections holds local custody records, while the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Records and Identification maintains the Central Repository and PATCH. The county District Attorney handles prosecutions and investigative-record appeals, while the Public Defender serves eligible defendants. PA DOC and the Pennsylvania State Police Megan’s Law Public Website cover still other subjects. We built this resource to put those official channels, request steps, fee facts, and access limits into a clear local framework.

An official or certified record must come from the court, police agency, corrections office, or Pennsylvania State Police system that created or maintains it.
